We Have A Bathroom! Week 5 Update
It's really starting to look like a bathroom, people! We had another intense week of life—ER visit, doctor appointments, deadlines to meet, etc. But we are pushing through this!
This past week we installed the vanity! That was a big win. Earlier this year while on a road trip we stopped at Costco in Las Vegas (we used to live there!) In that store I saw the vanity, and for half the price of other vanities I had been looking at.
I wondered if we could buy it in Vegas and ship it to Arizona, but we didn't do that. We saw it in our Arizona Costco a few weeks later and bought one! It's a 60" double sink vanity, a huge upgrade from our 20-year-old builder-grade vanity. It's not available anymore on the Costco site, so I linked the Home Depot same version for double the price.
We are switching out the silver hardware for black and waiting on black bathroom accents to arrive. We also have our mirrors ready to hang, so you'll probably see that next week.
Jonathan also cut out the shower walls all the way up to the ceiling so we could get ready for backer board and tile. He also installed new studs in the shower wall for more support. He is a major stud and I could not do anything without him (OK, I could do some things, but not a lot).
