Week 3 of the ORC: It's All in the Details

Each week arrives too quickly, because it feels like we haven't made any major progress! I'm sure it will all come together, but between work, a toddler, life events, doctor appointments, and more, our bathroom has been on the back end.

This week was a lot of prep and detail work—we have all the pieces in place, we just need to start putting together the puzzle.

What We've Done So Far:

  • Ripped everything out during DEMO Week

  • Bought Vanity and Bathtub

  • Picked Up Flooring and Grout

  • Closed up the medicine cabinet hole

  • Moved the bathtub drain so the new tub can fit

  • Ordered Mirrors

What We Need To Do:

  • Install Bathtub

  • Frame out Shower

  • Lay Flooring

  • Bring In New Vanity

  • Repair/Repaint Walls

  • Tile Bath/Shower

  • Window Treatment

  • New Toilet

  • New Lighting

  • Accessorize

Sneak peek of new mirrors for the bathroom!

The list is growing but we have 5 weeks left! Can we make it? It's a good thing you don't really get penalized for not finishing, but I have hope that we can do it! It will take a few long weekends and nights, but I'm going to try to help Jonathan as much as possible, because he actually knows what he's doing.
